Other colors of diamonds are brown, green, pink, violet, orange, black, purple, and the rarest, red. Colored diamonds are significantly more expensive than the colored ones because of their rarity.



Cut: It is often mistaken as the shape of the diamond itself but actually, cut refers to the facets of the diamond which allow light to enter through and bounce back. You can identify a well-cut diamond if light passes through it and reflects directly to your viewing eye. It is also advisable to acquire an ASG certificate or a GIA certificate to ascertain the quality of your diamond ring.



Clarity: A beautiful diamond is clear and has less or no imperfections such as scratches, flaws, air bubbles and other minerals mixed with it. The less imperfection a diamond has the more valuable it becomes.



Carat: This refers to the mass of the gemstone, in this case, the diamond. It is the unit of purity of a diamond.
